7am Muesli with soya milk and a coffee. I can't eat three meals a day – I need to peck on something every few hours.
9am Send emails to the labs that are making my products, then work from home on my new holiday colours, surrounded by drawers full to the brim with lipsticks.
10.30am Bread and honey, and green tea. I could live off honey and condiments – I just use bread as a vehicle for them.
1pm A lunch meeting with one of my retailers at a great café in downtown New York. Salad niçoise doused with olive oil – it's an absolute elixir for the skin, as are olives and smoked salmon.
3.30pm Handful of nuts and a coffee. I get pretty jittery if I go over three cups a day.

6.30pm Feeling self-righteous so have green tea before my Bikram yoga class, but with honey in it so it's not totally benign.
8pm A pretty light dinner: sea bass with as many different colour vegetables as possible such as beetroot and spinach. Nibble on dark chocolate afterwards.

Poppy's little-and-often eating plan suits a lot of people, and there is nothing wrong with this approach. She balances her food groups well and chooses nutrient-dense snacks like nuts and dark chocolate. Her love of honey isn't a problem, but it's important to remember that honey has the same calorie value as regular white sugar.
